From volunteering at local animal charities when I was at school, to training as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and now running my own business, every working day has been about looking after someone’s pet.
I started working in veterinary practice in 1992, and qualified as an RVN in 1997. I started my pet care business in 2019, and Ali's Pet Services was launched the same year.
For the past decade I have been extending my skills to better look after much-loved animals. My special interest is in the care of older pets and their joint aches and pains, having completed my Diploma in Canine Massage (NOCN) in 2009 and trained in Laser Therapy in 2013.
I aim to provide individual care, based on the needs of your pet and I understand just how much that animal is part of the family.

So, I have a great deal of experience dealing with cats and dogs, and knowledge of their well-being. I have attended numerous training sessions and courses, and have a particular interest in helping animals with mobility and exercise. Unfortunately musculoskeletal problems in older animals are common and cause significant anguish.My work as a Laser Therapy Practitioner has enabled me to really focus on this area and offer some relief to long-suffering pets and their owners.Obviously, if your pet becomes poorly or injured, I will be able to deal with the situation calmly and competently. I am dedicated to providing the best care for pets in Worthing.Naturally, I am fully insured and have a up-to-date DBS Check.Being an RVN, I am professionally bound to the RCVS Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Nurses. This means the health and welfare of your pet will be my first concern.
