I thought that I would take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about laser therapy, which is a treatment that I offer at Ali’s Pet Services.
Laser therapy is a fantastic drug free treatment which can really improve the quality of life of any of the older pets, or maybe ones that have a long-term injury. Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment, which is also drug free. This means that it is easily tolerated by the patients.
Laser therapy can help with joint inflammation and pain relief. It can either be used on its own or alongside conventional veterinary treatment or when no other treatment seems to have had any effect.
I am a fully qualified laser therapy practitioner. I am also fully insured.
Here is a little bit about the science of how laser therapy works:
Laser therapy blocks pain message signals which means it can reduce pain, improve healing time, increase circulation and decrease swelling. It stimulates the body’s response to the damage or injury from which your pet might be suffering.
There are some testimonials from owners here on my website, but I have included some sentences from Maisie’s owner here:
“…. I feel the laser treatment really improved her (Maisie) quality of life and when she finally left us aged nearly 18 years, I knew she had been able to enjoy the latter years to the full …”
Coral, Maisie’s owner.
If your much-loved pet is suffering from old age-related aches and pains, or a chronic injury then why not consider laser therapy? Check out the ‘Laser Therapy’ tab here on the website.
Ali.
